Studio: A little about my work space… As a habitual hoarder (it doesn't look like it from the photos) and my propensity to hold on to ‘stuff’ I try to keep a relatively tidy work area and frequently edit the shelves and cupboards. The rear wall has a drying rack and space to pin up and view drawings. My most treasured studio possession is a mid-century A0 drawing board and chair, purchased from a slate quarry design office in North Wales. Below are just a few photos of work items, and the bits and bobs dotted around the studio that mean something to me… A Daler-Rowney Palette from the student days, numerous tin toys and vinyl figures, books and exhibition catalogues, and far too many records!

Materials: Drawing - A variety of pencils and graphite sticks from Staedtler, Faber Castell and Caran d’Ache, putty rubbers, cartridge, layout and tracing paper. Paint - I work in acrylics, mainly using Golden, Liquitex and Windsor & Newton. Plus, a few bottles and potions always to hand are Golden Gloss & Satin Glazing Mediums, Golden Retarder and GAC100. Digital - An ancient steam powered Apple Mac & screens, and the essential Wacom Tablet, all running Adobe Creative Suite.
